Arrival – beginning of our adventure

Arrival in El Calafate. In the late afternoon, around 5:30 pm, we will board our Cruise ship at a private dock in Bahía Tranquila. Afterwards, we will start our navigation towards Bahia Alemana.

Glaciers Spegazzini & Upsala

After breakfast, we will land at Puesto de las Vacas, where we will go for a walk to explore the area.  Then, we will sail towards the Spegazzini glacier.  This is the highest glacier in the region. After lunch, we will sail towards Upsala glacier, the largest in the region.

Dinner, and overnight in the area of Bahía Toro/Seno Mayo.

Perito Moreno and other hidden Glaciers

Today we will land in an area where we will be able to hike around the Andean Patagonian forest, with a panoramic view to the Mayo and Negro glaciers.
We will navigate also through Canal de los Témpanos towards the Glacier Perito Moreno. We will land there, and we will walk along the northern footpaths of the Glacier, inside the National Park.
Back in the ship, we will navigate back to Punta Banderas, arriving around 4 pm.
