The Ministry of Tourism of Argentina will be promoting its amazing local destinations, and this time will be through the cooperation of 5 top social “influencers”.
These influencers are people with great impact within the social media and the online community world in the USA. Either running platforms with trendy contents about travel & leisure, or just posting pictures of stunning places around the world, they are always going one step beyond, captivating the attention of thousands of followers. This time, under the #Argentina Moments promotion campaign (December 2016), they have been invited to travel around and show their own impressions about it.
Beyond BA Latam, together with the cooperation of Destino Argentina and its members, has the privilege of organizing the trip for one of them: Garrett King.
Garrett is a photographer with a unique aesthetic, blending the lifestyle type photography with the push of adventure. He inspires the world with his creations, and he will be publishing this experience in Naked Planet, a community for Ecotravelers that embraces a connection with the environment.
Península Valdés
Reaching an audience over 2,8 million people, Naked Planet passion’s for travel and sustainability drives them to curate, produce, and distribute content designed for high engagement. Through photography and film they seek to capture the aspects of nature, wildlife, and human culture as they blend to create the world we live in.
The 5 influencers will be visiting different destinations in Argentina, and Garrett will be in Península Valdés –Patagonia-, Buenos Aires, and Cafayate –Salta-.
Península Valdés is the paradise for Ocean wildlife in Argentina, with the whales and the penguins as its main protagonists. Even though the season for whales is reaching the end when he arrives, the penguins and many other curious animals (sea elephants, rheas, maras, foxes, etc) will be present, with the possibility as well of watching the Orcas (Killer Whales) approaching the coast. With the help of Argentina Visión, Hotel Territorio, and Beyond BA Latam, Garrett will be ready to get inspired.
With a huge contrast in comparison to Península Valdés, his adventure in Salta (Northwest of Argentina) will not be less intense: walking along the vineyards of Grace Cafayate Wine Resort, or getting astonished by the colorful mountains in “de las Conchas” gorge, Garrett’s experience will surely find the way to invite others to come and visit this beautiful region in the world.
