Next, we’ll travel deeper into the Misiones rainforest, where we’ll spend three nights at San Sebastián de la Selva Private Reserve.

Here, we will:

• – Hike through pristine rainforest trails, guided by expert herpetologists.
• – Go road cruising and spotlighting at night, a thrilling way to observe reptiles and amphibians.
• – Discover the vast biodiversity of the Atlantic Forest, home to frogs, snakes, lizards, and many other species.

This part of the journey offers both adventure and unique opportunities for wildlife photography.

We’ll then continue south to the Iberá Wetlands, one of Argentina’s most extraordinary natural wonders. For three nights, you’ll stay at Posada Mbarete, an eco-lodge that serves as our base for exploration.

Together, we’ll:

• – Venture into wetlands, grasslands, and forests on day and night excursions.
• – Search for species such as caimans, capybaras, frogs, snakes, and aquatic birds.
• – Explore both on foot and by road to maximize wildlife encounters.

This stage reveals a completely different ecosystem, offering a perfect contrast to the Misiones rainforest.

On December 2nd, we’ll take you to Posadas Airport for your flight back to Buenos Aires, marking the end of this unforgettable herping expedition through Iguazú, Misiones, and the Iberá Wetlands.
