Estancia Los Potreros is recognized worldwide for the quality of horses owned by the Begg family. The current owner, Kevin Begg, owns more than 150 horses among which will be able to find Criollos, Quarter Horses, and the most acclaimed, the Paso Peruano Horse. This ranch has called the attention of prestigious organizations such as National Geographic, Telegraph, Condé Nast, and BBC – among others, where you can find articles about it.

Flight from Buenos Aires to Cordoba. Upon your arrival at Córdoba’s international airport, our transfer will be there to welcome you. In less than an hour, you’ll reach Estancia Los Potreros, where a delightful late lunch awaits. Join one of our experienced guides for an acclimatization walk and explore the intriguing “Bellstone,” sure to captivate the geologists among you.
As the day winds down, rendezvous with our riders at one of the stunning viewpoints for a memorable sundowner.
Finally, the Begg family extends a warm invitation to enjoy dinner in their cherished family home, which holds over a century of history.
In the morning, embark on a guided hike to the ‘Top of the World,’ the highest point on the estancia, granting you breathtaking views of the Sierras Chicas. Accompanied by the estancia bird guide, you’ll have a chance to spot condors and eagles as you follow the trail along the ridge.
Afterward, return to the estancia in time for a delightful lunch on the veranda. In the afternoon, be captivated by a demonstration from our skilled gauchos showcasing the special Peruvian Paso horse.
Following the demonstration, you can either opt for a short ride around the estancia or choose to unwind in a hammock or by the pool for a leisurely afternoon.
This morning, consider joining the chefs to explore the art of cooking your own asado, or venture out in any direction with the estancia dogs using one of our maps. Indulge in a traditional Argentine ‘asado’ for lunch, savoring various cuts of the estancia’s own home-reared beef, accompanied by plentiful Malbec wine.
Spend the remainder of the afternoon unwinding by the pool. As the evening approaches, take part in an informal wine-tasting session, sampling the finest local wines from the region.
Conclude the day with a delightful candle-lit dinner to complete this wonderful culinary and wine experience.
This morning’s ride leads to the secluded waterfall, where guests have the opportunity to take a refreshing dip or simply relax in the tranquil shade. Accessible only by horse or foot, a knowledgeable guide will accompany you on this hiking journey.

ositioned atop a hill, the house offers breathtaking views of the valleys, and be forewarned, you might find it hard to leave such a picturesque setting!
In the evening, join the chefs in the farmhouse kitchen with a glass of wine in hand and immerse yourself in the art of preparing traditional Argentine dishes. Learn how to craft the famous empanadas, homemade breads, and flavorful pastas before indulging in a grand feast of regional Argentine delicacies.
Embark on a scenic drive to our cattle station and observe the gauchos as they carry out their daily tasks, tending to our esteemed herd of Aberdeen Angus. Join the gauchos for a leisurely lunch under the shade of trees, where you can savor some of our beloved Argentine dishes prepared over an open fire. Afterward, venture to the corrals for a chance to try your hand at lassoing!
On the return journey, keep an eye out for the diverse birdlife, including the enchanting burrowing owls that curiously peek from the edges of their burrows. You might even catch a glimpse of our growing number of majestic Condors soaring above. In the afternoon, take your transfer to your hotel in Cordoba City.
Overnight in Azur Real Hotel
Transfer back to the local airport to board your flight back to Buenos Aires. End of the Estancia Los Potreros program.
